The Vietnam-Australia Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence Forum, held in Hanoi on October 12, 2026, convened to strengthen technological cooperation between the two nations. Organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vietnam-Australia Intellectuals and Experts Association (VASEA), the event took place as a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding signed at the University of Technology Sydney on August 10, 2026.

The most notable development of the forum was the introduction of the V-bridge platform, developed in collaboration between FPT Group and VASEA. This platform aims to connect ecosystems by establishing a direct bridge between technology companies and organizations in Vietnam and Australia.

Panel discussions at the event highlighted topics such as artificial intelligence, semiconductor technologies, innovation processes, and product commercialization. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh emphasized that combining Vietnam's technology application capacity with Australia's research and innovation strength would support both technological development and the training of qualified human resources.
