2026-2030 Cooperation Between Son La and the Ministry of Science and Technology

The Son La Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology signed a comprehensive cooperation program covering the 2026-2030 period during a ceremony held in Hanoi on October 23, 2026.

The signing ceremony in Hanoi was attended by Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan and Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Nghiem. The program, aimed at socio-economic development, covers 18 key tasks and 10 priority areas.

Within the framework of the cooperation, the goals include strengthening the province's digital infrastructure, technology integration for SMEs, processing of agricultural products such as coffee and mangoes, and the protection of geographical indications. Additionally, it is planned to provide fiber optic infrastructure to 125 disadvantaged villages during the 2027-2030 period.
