2027 Health Targets Announced
According to the 2027 Presidential Annual Program, it is planned to reduce the population per family medicine unit to 2,600, complete 150 facilities, and increase the number of physicians.
Within the scope of the 2027 Presidential Annual Program, it is targeted to reduce the registered population per family medicine unit to 2,600, complete 150 primary care health facilities, and open 35 new Healthy Life Centers.
The 2027 Presidential Annual Program, prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Presidency's Strategy and Budget Directorate, has been published in the Official Gazette. Within the framework of the program, it is aimed to increase the capacity of healthcare services and improve access. According to Ministry of Health data, the population per family medicine unit, which was 2,840 in 2025, is planned to be reduced to 2,700 by the end of 2026 and to 2,600 in 2027.
