29 October Republic Day Message from ATO President Gürsel Baran

Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Chairman of the Board Gürsel Baran emphasized in his message for the 29 October Republic Day that the 103-year achievements of the Republic form the foundation for Turkey's progress toward the future with confidence. Baran stated that they continue to work for a strong economy and a prosperous Turkey on the path opened by the Republic.

Ankara Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board Gürsel Baran stated that the date of October 29, 1923, is a turning point where the nation crowned its determination to determine its own destiny with the Republic and declared that sovereignty belongs to the nation. He noted that during the 103-year journey of the Republic, established under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the foundations of political, social, and economic development were laid.

Conveying that the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, which is as old as the Republic itself, has been contributing to the capital's trade, production, and economic development for 103 years, Baran stated that successes in the second century will grow with the courage of entrepreneurs, the labor of producers, and the joint efforts of the business world. In his message, Baran commemorated the heroes of the National Struggle and congratulated all citizens on the 29 October Republic Day.
