871 Billion Liras Allocated to Higher Education Institutions in the 2027 Budget

It was reported that a total allocation of 871 billion 826 million 761 thousand liras has been earmarked for higher education institutions within the scope of the 2027 budget bill.

The total allocation determined for higher education institutions in the 2027 budget was announced as 871 billion 826 million 761 thousand liras. Standing out within this scope, Ankara University surpassed many institutions such as the Directorate for EU Affairs, the Directorate of Communications, the Court of Cassation, the Court of Accounts, the National Palaces Administration, and the Council of State with its projected budget allocation of 25 billion 990 million 811 thousand liras.

Following Ankara University, Hacettepe University ranked second with a budget allocation of 24 billion 737 million 380 thousand liras. Hacettepe University was followed by Istanbul University with an allocation of 22 billion 369 million 212 thousand liras.
