The younger generation plays a decisive role in the rise of arabesk music on digital platforms. According to the data, users under the age of 30 make up 77 percent of the genre's listeners, with the 18-24 age group constituting the largest portion of this audience. Rhea Chedid, Spotify's Editorial Lead for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, stated that the core of this interest lies in the capacity of arabesk music to express emotions directly.

While Semicenk is the most-streamed arabesk artist of all time in Turkey, he is followed by Müslüm Gürses and Ahmet Kaya. In daily listening habits, it was observed that arabesk songs reach their peak at 18:00.
