Aykut Kocaman Agenda at Fenerbahçe After İsmail Kartal
Following the separation with İsmail Kartal after the Galatasaray derby, Aykut Kocaman's name has come to the fore for the managerial position in the Fenerbahçe board.
In Fenerbahçe, which moved away from the championship race following the defeat in the Galatasaray derby and fell below expectations in the Champions League, paths parted with head coach İsmail Kartal. The management reached an agreement with Aykut Kocaman, whom they had previously met with, for the vacant seat.
The Fenerbahçe board of directors, which gathered after the 2-1 defeat against Galatasaray, decided to part ways with head coach İsmail Kartal. Assistant coach Dirk Kuyt will remain in charge of the team for a while. Having contacted Vincenzo Montella and Abdullah Avcı during the process and received presentations, the yellow-navy management preferred Aykut Kocaman. It is stated that President Aziz Yıldırım wants to make this decision official in a short time.
