Bain & Company: Periods of economic turbulence present growth opportunities for companies
Bain & Company Senior Partner Hernan Saenz stated that economic uncertainties provide companies with the opportunity to make strategic moves, predicting that artificial intelligence will create a profit potential of $4.7 trillion by 2035.
Bain & Company Senior Partner and Global Leader of Strategy and Transformation practice Hernan Saenz emphasized that during periods of economic turbulence dominated by inflation and financing uncertainties, companies should take strategic steps rather than remaining passive.
Saenz advised executives to accelerate in areas where they are confident in their forecasts, and to adopt a 'two-way doors' strategy that provides flexibility in situations of uncertainty. Evaluating the effects of artificial intelligence on the business world, Saenz announced that a profit of $1.1 trillion is expected from productivity increases driven by artificial intelligence, and $2.2 trillion from new product and service innovation by 2035.
Additionally, predicting that approximately $1.3 trillion in existing profits will change hands across sectors, Saenz stated that machine learning and humanoid robots will provide a competitive advantage in production-focused economies like Turkey.
