Coahoma Community College is encouraging faculty members, staff, and the wider public to enroll in free Intel artificial intelligence courses under the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network.

Scope and Details of the Training Program

Coahoma Community College has announced a call for participation this fall semester in completely free, self-paced Intel artificial intelligence workforce training courses through the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network.

This initiative provides 100 percent free access to an online curriculum aimed at building practical skills such as an introduction to artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence.

Assessments by Academic Leaders

Dr. Rolonda Brown, Dean of Academic Affairs, emphasized the importance of mastering such tools, stating that artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the ways operations are conducted.

Brown stated that by providing accessible education, they aim to enable workers to use new technologies with confidence.

Opportunities Open to Public Participation

The trainings in question are not limited to Coahoma employees alone but are kept open to local workforce professionals, students, and all community members.

Requiring no prior experience, this introductory-level curriculum allows participants to enhance their technological skills.

Curriculum Structure and Certification

Participants take a total of 64 hours of coursework hosted on the Canvas platform through a self-paced, 16-module content completed over a 16-week period.

Individuals who successfully complete the program earn professional development certificates and Credly badges.
