Comprehensive Equipment Support for Amateur Sports Clubs in Istanbul
In a ceremony organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, thousands of items of equipment across various branches were distributed to thousands of athletes in the city.
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality provided thousands of sports equipment items to amateur sports clubs at a ceremony held at the Bayrampaşa Hidayet Türkoğlu Sports Complex.

Many notable figures attended the ceremony held at the Bayrampaşa Hidayet Türkoğlu Sports Complex. Along with IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan and IMM bureaucrats, Amateur Sports Clubs Federation President Ali Düşmez and Çatalca Mayor Erhan Güzel also took part in the event.
The Balance Sheet of Multi-Year Aid
Speaking at the ceremony, IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan shared statistics on the aid provided to amateur sports clubs and schools between 2019 and 2026. It was stated that direct contributions were made to thousands of institutions and millions of young people during this period.
Details of the Equipment to Be Distributed This Year
According to the disclosed data, materials in 22 different branches and 67 different varieties were prepared this year. It is planned to distribute a total of over two hundred fourteen thousand items of equipment to sixteen hundred amateur sports clubs.
Symbolic Box Presentation and Closing
Following the speeches, material boxes were symbolically presented on stage by Nuri Aslan to the Küçükçekmece İdman Yurdu Women's Football Team and the Sinca Taekwondo Sports Club. The program ended with a group commemorative photo shoot involving participants and young athletes.
