Denial of fund loss and dismissal allegations from the Turkey Diyanet Foundation

The Turkey Diyanet Foundation (TDV) released an official statement regarding claims in the press and on social media that losses were incurred in fund investments and that, for this reason, the General Manager and two Deputy General Managers were dismissed.

The foundation stated that it evaluates its financial resources in accordance with interest-free finance principles and emphasized that it has no assets in funds for which a liquidation decision has been made in the markets. Stating that assets evaluated only in the TLK fund were withdrawn in a controlled manner, TDV reported that no financial loss was suffered during this process.

Responding to the allegations regarding the management change, the foundation stated that the change in question had been on the agenda of the Board of Trustees for a long time and that its coincidence with the allegations was purely a coincidence. TDV announced that legal proceedings have been initiated against those who spread baseless claims.
