The Turkey Diyanet Foundation (TDV) announced that allegations claiming losses were suffered in certain fund investments and that this situation led to management changes do not reflect the truth.

In the statement made by the foundation, it was emphasized that it does not have any financial resources in the portfolio management companies mentioned in the markets and in the funds for which liquidation decisions were taken. TDV stated that a portion of its cash assets was evaluated in the TLK fund in accordance with interest-free finance principles, but following the liquidation decisions, these assets were withdrawn in a controlled manner and directed to different channels.

Touching upon the changes in the management staff, the foundation stated that the dismissal of the General Manager and two deputy general managers has no relation to the fund issue, and that this change was a routine matter on the agenda of the Board of Trustees. The foundation reported that legal proceedings have been initiated against those spreading the baseless allegations.
