Enterprise Artificial Intelligence Platform Guide with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
AWS has published a guide on building an enterprise-grade, managed agent-based artificial intelligence platform using Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has published an architectural guide and reference implementation for those looking to build enterprise-grade agentic artificial intelligence platforms in a secure environment. Based on the Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore infrastructure, this guide addresses the operational hurdles and multi-account management model involved in moving artificial intelligence agents to production environments.
The guide shared by AWS emphasizes that the biggest hurdle encountered when deploying artificial intelligence agents into production is not model or tool usage, but rather security, cost tracking, error management, and cross-team authorization processes. Platform teams must provide standardized infrastructures such as approved models, isolated runtimes, automated evaluation, and cost allocation to support multiple workstream teams.
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore provides modular services such as runtime, gateway, identity, memory, policy, registry, and evaluation to build, deploy, and manage agents at scale. The Enterprise Agentic AI Platform Blueprint combines these components with enterprise contracts such as ownership, account boundaries, software delivery, and cost management.
