Google is expanding ads in AI-powered search experiences to international markets as growth in core search advertising slows.
Google is rolling out ads within AI-powered search experiences to international markets as growth in core search advertising slows. During Alphabet's third-quarter earnings call, the company announced that total revenues reached $127.6 billion, a 25% increase, though search ad growth has lost momentum.
Google Chief Business Officer Philipp Schindler stated that they are scaling high-quality ads within AI Overviews and the AI mode to more users and queries. Alongside opening up the AI mode to international markets, the company also announced multi-turn ads in the US, and reported that click-through rates for sponsored product listings within the AI mode are comparable to organic listings.
