In his opening speech at the 6th International Emergency Medicine Congress held in Antalya, Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu drew attention to Turkey's infrastructure strength and capacity in the field of emergency health services. Minister Memişoğlu stated that they provide pre-hospital emergency health services that set an example for the world with over 3,600 stations, more than 6,300 land ambulances, and over 300 air ambulances.

Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu touched upon the roles of healthcare workers under difficult conditions at the 6th International Emergency Medicine Congress held in Antalya on October 23, describing them as the raiders of the health army. Stating that the profession of medicine requires emotion and empathy, Memişoğlu expressed that healthcare workers should develop innovative ideas and production-oriented projects not only in service delivery but also in fields such as artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

Arguing that Turkey is the most advanced country in the world in terms of IT infrastructure and software, Memişoğlu conveyed that these data can be rapidly delivered to the world through AI-supported treatment methods. Announcing that they have prepared approximately 170 regulations in the last two years, Minister Memişoğlu noted that services are provided with over 3,600 stations across Turkey, and an average of 7.5 to 8 million citizens are transported to hospitals by ambulances every year. He also added that a major success story has been written in response times and identification processes with the contributions of UMKE.
