The Quang Tri Provincial Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation held a thematic meeting to evaluate third-quarter activities for 2026 and discuss objectives.
Purpose of the Meeting
A comprehensive meeting was held in Quang Tri province to discuss science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in service of socio-economic development. The meeting was chaired by senior provincial leaders and heads of the steering committee.
Third-Quarter Developments
Significant progress was made across the province in the third quarter regarding the resolution of administrative procedures, the establishment of databases, and the application of technology, alongside the announcement of online public service rates.
Infrastructure and Data Integration
While coverage rates for 4G and 5G networks increased in telecommunications infrastructure, land data, party member records, and civil servant records were successfully integrated into the national database.
Key Challenges Encountered
It was emphasized at the meeting that task implementation progress was uneven among sectors and local governments, infrastructure and equipment remained limited, and resource allocation proceeded slowly.
Disbursement of Investment Funds
It was noted that out of more than 336 billion VND allocated for 2026, only a small portion had been disbursed as of October, and new rates were established to accelerate payments.
Goals for the Future Period
Officials set a target to achieve high disbursement rates for October and November, and requested that data digitization efforts be completed before December.
