Migrant Health Services Evaluation Meeting Held in Kayseri
Hosted by the Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Health, an evaluation meeting was held to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services provided within the scope of the Project for the Support of Migrant Health Services in Turkey (SIHHAT).
Within the scope of the SIHHAT Project, conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the European Union, the current status of healthcare services for migrants and project activities were discussed in Kayseri.
The meeting, held with the participation of Kayseri Provincial Health Director Dr. Mehmet Erşan, aimed to make healthcare services offered to migrants more effective and accessible. The meeting was attended by SIHHAT Project monitoring officers Melita Petanovic and Alkım Atabay Arcak, field observer Dr. Murat Zengin, director Habibe Özdemir, and EU expert Nehir Mutlu. In addition, Public Health Services Head Specialist Dr. Duygu Horoz and Vice President Specialist Dr. Seçkin Özsaydı from the Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Health took part in the discussions.
Within the scope of the meeting, current project activities and strategies to improve service quality were discussed in detail by institutional representatives. Conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the European Union, the SIHHAT Project stands out as an initiative aiming to improve the migrant population's access to healthcare services across Turkey.
