Milwaukee Brewers fans cash in 'Timeless Tickets' for World Series

Milwaukee Brewers fans have started using their brass 'Timeless Tickets,' purchased for one thousand dollars in 2015, as the team advances to the World Series for the first time since 1982. However, some concerns regarding seat allocation have also been raised during the process.

As the Milwaukee Brewers make their first World Series appearance since 1982, fans holding 1,000 brass 'Timeless Ticket' items sold for $1,000 in 2015 have begun redeeming their tickets. These tickets entitled holders to the best available seat at any home game and the option to buy three additional tickets at face value. While ticket holders such as Danny Fochesato and Gail Schoenfeld redeemed their tickets for World Series games, Fochesato and some fans expressed concerns that the terrace or standing-room-only seats offered to them did not meet the contract's 'best available seat' requirement.

Brewers President Rick Schlesinger acknowledged in a statement that, despite existing seating limitations, the spirit of the program was not fully met and stated they were working on a resolution. Schlesinger noted that ticket holders who applied on time would keep their tickets for this year and could save their tickets for another game in future seasons.
