Minister Murat Kurum: The real major crisis is climate change

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum emphasized that climate change is the real major crisis at the COP31 Meeting in Istanbul where he came together with editors-in-chief of media organizations, and discussed Turkey's preparations to host COP31 in Antalya.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum made statements at the COP31 Meeting with Editors-in-Chief of Media Organizations in Istanbul. Minister Kurum stated that the world will come to Turkey and Antalya to discuss the future of the climate, expressing that the country, with its location in the Mediterranean Basin, is exposed to the destructive effects of the climate crisis.

Minister Kurum noted that they are preparing to host the COP31 summit, which will be held in Antalya on November 9-20 under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
