Ministry of Health Determines 31 Thousand Contracted Personnel Positions for 2027
With the decision published in the Official Gazette, the staff distribution of 31,054 contracted personnel to be employed by the Ministry of Health in 2027 has been finalized.
In accordance with the Presidential decree published in the Official Gazette, the staff distribution of 31,054 contracted healthcare personnel to be employed within the Ministry of Health in 2027 has been clarified.
The Presidential Decree numbered 2026/339 and dated October 16, 2026, entered into force after being published in the duplicate issues of the Official Gazette. With this decision taken pursuant to Article 1 of Law No. 4924, service units and numbers for the employment of contracted healthcare personnel to be implemented in 2027 were determined, creating a total personnel pool of 31,054 positions.
According to the attached list in the Official Gazette, the majority of the positions were allocated to physician roles. To be employed in Inpatient Treatment service units, 25,955 Specialist Physician and 5,061 Physician positions were established. The list also included 25 Health Officers, 9 Midwives, 2 Nurses, 1 Dietitian, and 1 Health Technician position. Out of the total positions, 31,040 were allocated to Inpatient Treatment units, 7 to District Health Directorates and Community Health Centers, and 6 to Health Houses.
The application schedule regarding the aforementioned healthcare personnel recruitment has not been announced yet; announcements are expected to be made in the coming days.
