Ministry of Health takes step for a digital platform for employee and patient rights
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced that a digital application system will be established to bring patient and employee rights under one roof. The HÇHBS aims to resolve applications on-site and implement new mechanisms against violence.
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu announced at the Medicine and Justice Symposium held in Istanbul that a new platform will be established to protect the rights of healthcare workers and digitize processes.
Minister Memişoğlu stated that they are working on a new regulation that combines patient and employee rights. This platform, called the Patient and Employee Rights Application System (HÇHBS), aims to conclude applications primarily through on-site resolution and consensus. In cases where consensus cannot be reached, the process will be carried out through commissions and provincial boards.
The draft regulation includes a 'White Help' mechanism for healthcare workers exposed to violence and the recording of 'near-miss' incidents. The system, which will cover public, private, and university healthcare institutions, is planned to work in coordination with SABİM and CİMER to prevent duplicate applications.
