As part of the Motorcycle Ambulance Driving Safety Training (MOSGE) organized in Samsun by the General Directorate of Emergency Health Services of the Ministry of Health, a 14-day theoretical and practical training process has been initiated for 16 motorized health personnel coming from six different provinces.

Teams from Antalya, Aydın, Diyarbakır, Konya, Muğla, and Samsun are participating in the training held on a special track established in the truck garage of Logistics Village in Samsun's Tekkeköy district. Spread nationwide to reach cases quickly in heavy traffic or points where vehicles have difficulty entering, motorized health services play a life-saving role in critical situations.

Samsun Provincial Health Director Mustafa Uras announced that the Samsun Mototim teams, which started operating on a 24/7 basis on July 1, 2026, intervened in 800 cases within a short time. Uras stated that motorcycle teams also actively serve for quick intervention in drowning incidents occurring on weekends.

Okan Kaya, the Motorcycle Ambulance Driving Safety Training Coordinator of the Ministry of Health, reported that there are a total of 55 motorcycle health teams in 21 provinces across Turkey. Stating that the training in Samsun is the third organization nationwide, Kaya conveyed that motorized teams depart for cases in 90 seconds and reach patients in dense areas within an average of 2.5 to 3 minutes.
