October inflation and year-end forecasts announced according to economic survey

21 economists participating in the AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey expect consumer prices to increase by an average of 2.20 percent in October, and year-end inflation to realize at the level of 29.64 percent. Official October inflation data will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) on Tuesday, November 3.

In line with economists' average expectation of 2.20 percent for October, it is calculated that the annual inflation rate, which was 29.73 percent in September, will recede to the level of 29.28 percent in October. On the other hand, the year-end inflation forecast, determined as 29.66 percent in September, decreased by 0.02 points in October to the level of 29.64 percent.
