Following Çaykur Rizespor's 2-1 away defeat to Çorum FK in the 8th week of the Trendyol Süper League, Head Coach Recep Uçar made statements after the match. Uçar expressed that he took responsibility for the match and that they got a result they did not deserve.
Çaykur Rizespor Head Coach Recep Uçar stated in his post-match evaluation of the Çorum FK encounter that they went into the match with the objective of winning. Emphasizing that the opponent had quality players in terms of attacking, Uçar conveyed that they remained ineffective in final shots throughout the match and could not get past the goalposts.
The experienced coach said that after Cengiz scored, the momentum of the game shifted to the opposing team. Stating that they dropped out of the game for a portion of the second half, Uçar voiced that although they regained control with player substitutions, they were penalized due to simple mistakes.
