Emphasizing that they have major goals in Turkey and Europe, Doğan stated that they want to bring young names together with experienced players in the squad.

Praising Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Doğan said that the player is at the level of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo with his career successes. Stating that Salah has made a great contribution to the city and Trabzonspor, Doğan recalled that the player, who was welcomed by nearly 30,000 fans at the airport, also had his signing ceremony held in a full stadium.
