Transportation Solution for World Series Games from St. Petersburg
The St. Petersburg administration is organizing shuttle services so that fans can reach the stadium from downtown with more economical parking options during the Tampa Bay Rays World Series games.
St. Petersburg city leaders have announced that special shuttle vehicles will operate between the Trop and downtown for the thousands of fans expected to flock to the city due to the Tampa Bay Rays World Series games taking place this week.
Shuttle lines have been put into service by the municipality to reduce traffic congestion ahead of Game 3 scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. on Monday in St. Petersburg, Game 4 to be played on Tuesday night, and Game 5 if needed on Wednesday night. Thanks to this practice, fans will be able to prefer more affordable parking lots in the city center instead of high parking fees around the stadium.
Officials stated that downtown parking fees are around 25 dollars, while the average World Series parking price around the stadium reaches 150 dollars. It was noted that the parking and traffic guide can be accessed on the municipality's website.
