According to PISA 2025 Results, Turkey Increased Its Score in All Areas
According to the latest research data announced by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Turkey achieved the title of being the only country to increase its score in all evaluated areas.
The results of the Programme for International Student Assessment 2025, organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, have been announced. According to the evaluations, Turkey became the only OECD country that succeeded in increasing its score in all fields of science, reading skills, and mathematics.

The 2025 results of the Programme for International Student Assessment, implemented by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development with the participation of ninety-one countries, were shared with the public.
The country report published by the General Directorate of Measurement, Evaluation, and Examination Services of the Ministry of National Education revealed the details of developments in the field of education.
Rise in All Three Areas
According to the announced 2025 results, Turkey managed to achieve much higher scores in all three core areas compared to the year 2020.
With this success, the country rose to the position of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development member that increased its score the most in all examined categories.
Long-Term Score Increase
When long-term statistics are examined, a continuous increase was observed in Turkey's scores while a general decline occurred in the average scores of member countries.

Distribution of Obtained Scores
Turkey increased its score in science from four hundred thirty-four to four hundred ninety-four, and in reading skills from four hundred forty-one to four hundred seventy-two.
In the field of mathematics, the score of four hundred twenty-three was raised to four hundred sixty-two, achieving a significant success.
Surpassing Averages
With these results, Turkey exceeded the member country average for the first time in the fields of science and reading skills.

General and Member Rankings
Among the ninety-one countries participating in the research, Turkey ranked nineteenth in science, eighteenth in reading skills, and twenty-eighth in mathematics.
In the ranking among member countries, it ranked fourteenth in science, thirteenth in reading skills, and twenty-third in mathematics.
Proportion of High-Performing Students
Turkey also achieved a remarkable success in the proportion of students who managed to exhibit high-level performance in the fields of science and reading skills.
