Angle Health Secures $600 Million Investment for Small Businesses
AI-powered health insurance platform Angle Health has completed a major financing round, raising its valuation to $2.7 billion.
Angle Health, which provides AI-driven health insurance services for small businesses, has raised $600 million in equity financing, bringing its total valuation to $2.7 billion.
Financing Details and Valuation Increase
The funding secured by Angle Health consists of a $200 million Series C investment round and a $400 million share tender offer. The startup's valuation has more than doubled compared to its Series B round in December.
Key Participants in the Funding Round
The financing round was led by Vitruvian Partners, with participation from new investor Town Hall Ventures as well as existing partners Blumberg Capital, Portage Ventures, PruVen Capital, and Y Combinator.
AI-Powered Healthcare Platform
Vitruvian Partners Partner Jeremy Gelber stated that the company is replacing the cumbersome systems of a century-old industry with a platform tailored to the demands of the AI era. The platform integrates medical and pharmaceutical data.
Expanding Market Share and Growth Rate
Angle Health currently serves more than 5,000 employers across 47 states. Company executives stated that they have achieved 120 percent year-over-year growth and are seeing approximately $1 billion in premium equivalents.
Healthcare Access for Small Businesses
Angle Health CEO and co-founder Ty Wang emphasized the platform's mission, noting that access to quality healthcare should not depend on the size of the company one works for.
