Icelandic audio AI simulation startup Treble has secured $18 million in a Series A funding round extension led by Paladin Capital Group, bringing its total funding raised to over $40 million.

Details of the Funding Round

The investment round led by Paladin Capital Group also saw participation from existing investors including KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, EIC, and Omega ehf.

Founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, the company has brought its total funding amount to over $40 million following a $12 million investment received in 2024.

Treble provides solutions in the field of audio simulation and synthetic data generation for model makers, robotics companies, and consumer electronics brands.

The platform offered by the startup is capable of generating synthetic data in areas such as speech enhancement, noise suppression, and model training.

Hardware and Physical AI

The company contributes to audio design processes by conducting virtual prototyping work for headphone and speaker manufacturers.

Recently, it has been expanding its testing services by focusing on physical AI areas such as smart glasses, AI devices, robotics, and automotive.
