Elon Musk's companies, X Corp and SpaceXAI, have withdrawn their antitrust lawsuit alleging that Apple conspired with OpenAI to shut out competing chatbots in the artificial intelligence market.

Elon Musk's companies, X Corp and SpaceXAI, have ended their antitrust lawsuit against Apple, withdrawing their claims from the court.

In a court filing submitted on Monday, no reason was given for the decision, and it was not specified whether a settlement had been reached between the parties.

Artificial Intelligence Competition Allegations

In the lawsuit filed in Texas in August 2025, Apple and OpenAI were accused of violating laws by integrating ChatGPT into the iPhone operating system.

X and SpaceXAI, which developed the Grok chatbot, argued that thanks to Apple's agreement, ChatGPT gained access to billions of user inputs.

Ongoing Legal Process

Although the companies dropped their claims against Apple, they announced that they would continue their claims against OpenAI, which remains a defendant in the lawsuit.
