In a published blog post, Microsoft announced the launch of a comprehensive renewal process for its Copilot artificial intelligence assistant. This new approach aims to manage various capabilities that previously operated separately from a single center.
Consolidated New Hubs
With the new version, Chat and Cowork features are gathered at a starting point called Home, while Word, Excel, and PowerPoint functions are brought together under the Office in Copilot umbrella. Additionally, coding tools Code and personal assistant tasks Autopilot have taken their place in the system.
Automatic Routing and Deployment Plan
With an update to be implemented in the upcoming period, the system will automatically route the user's task to the most appropriate capability. The company has begun offering Home and Code components within the scope of the Frontier program while moving Autopilot to private preview.
