New Era in Artificial Intelligence Usage
Researchers can utilize generative artificial intelligence tools to process data, draft grant proposals, or conduct literature reviews.
If studies are called into question, researchers must be able to recreate the tool's outputs, the checks performed, and the existence of records.
Research Misconduct Framework
The Office of Research Integrity has activated the existing research misconduct framework for the use of generative artificial intelligence.
To establish a violation, a significant departure from accepted practices in the relevant research community and intentional or reckless behavior are required.
Major Asset Loss on Bitget Exchange
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget announced in a statement via the X platform that approximately $387.5 million worth of assets were stolen.
The company updated its previous initial estimate, officially sharing that the total loss reached this figure.
