The results of the artificial intelligence-based simulation conducted ahead of Europe's most prestigious club-level tournament have been clarified.
As the excitement of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League season kicks off, data analysis platform Opta simulated the 36-team tournament ten thousand times to announce the title favorites and the probabilities for Turkish representatives.

Ahead of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League season, Opta conducted a total of 10,000 simulations to evaluate the teams' chances in the tournament.
Title Favorites
As a result of the simulations, last season's finalist Arsenal was shown as the biggest title favorite of the tournament.
The English team was followed respectively by Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Barcelona, and reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Opening Week Matches
The tournament's opening week matches will meet football fans on September 8, 9, and 10, and the excitement will peak.
In this context, Galatasaray will face Sporting away from home, while Fenerbahçe will host Roma at their home ground.
Galatasaray's Odds
Galatasaray's probability of qualifying for the round of 16 play-off round was determined as 44.3%, and their probability of advancing directly to the round of 16 as 23.7%.
The yellow-red team's chance of reaching the quarterfinals was calculated at 7.3%, the semifinals at 2.1%, the probability of reaching the final at 0.4%, and the championship probability at 0.1%.
Fenerbahçe's Odds
In the calculations made for Fenerbahçe, the probability of reaching the round of 16 play-off round came out at the 48.2% level.
The yellow-navy team's probability of qualifying for the round of 16 was recorded as 27.5%, and their chance of advancing to the quarterfinals as 8.4%.
