104th Anniversary of Bergama's Liberation and BERKSAV's Anniversary Celebrated
The anniversary of Bergama's liberation and the foundation anniversary of the foundation were celebrated with a ceremony and concert at Asklepion.
The 104th anniversary of Bergama's liberation from enemy occupation and the 37th foundation anniversary of the Bergama Culture and Arts Foundation (BERKSAV) were celebrated with special events held at the Bergama Asklepion and a Yeni Türkü concert.
Details of the Celebration Program
A meaningful event was held at the historical Bergama Asklepion on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of Bergama's liberation from enemy occupation and the 37th foundation anniversary of the Bergama Culture and Arts Foundation (BERKSAV).
Institutional Support and Organization
The program, organized by the Bergama Chamber of Commerce and BERKSAV, was also supported by the Izmir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and the Association of Those Who Love Bergama Tourism.
Recipient of the Art Award
During the award ceremony held within the scope of the program, the Art Award was presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yaltırık for their work titled "Bergama Folk Songs" prepared in 2012.
Speech by Lütfi Kolat
Bergama Chamber of Commerce President Lütfi Kolat stated in his speech at the ceremony that the struggle for liberation was the victory of the Turkish nation's will against captivity.
Importance of Cultural Heritage
Stating that successes in the fields of culture, art, and education as well as victories on the front make this victory permanent, Kolat said that BERKSAV protects the memory of the city.
Yeni Türkü Concert
Taking the stage after the award ceremony, Yeni Türkü provided unforgettable moments for the participants at Asklepion, ensuring that the celebration events concluded with enthusiasm.
