12th Representative Yörük Migration and Health Center Opening Held in Elmalı
Traditional Yörük culture was vividly kept alive at the event held in Antalya's Elmalı district, and a new health center was opened.
The twelfth Representative Yörük Migration held in the Elmalı district was carried out with high participation, and following the ceremonies, a new Cancer Early Diagnosis and Screening Center was also put into service.
Enthusiasm of the Yörük Migration
Colorful scenes were witnessed along the route of the Yörük migration in Elmalı, starting from Cumhuriyet Square, where participants wearing traditional clothing kept their culture alive.
Emphasis on Cultural Heritage
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir emphasized in her speech at the ceremony that Yörük culture is the greatest wealth of these lands.
Solidarity and Tradition
Özdemir stated that Elmalı is a center where Yörük culture, traditions, solidarity, and the deep-rooted wrestling tradition are kept alive in the strongest way possible.
Opening of the Health Center
Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir also attended the opening ceremony of the Cancer Early Diagnosis and Screening Center within the body of the ATSO Elmalı Education and Health Center.
