Seventy-six-year-old İskender Duman, residing in the village of Konursu in Bayburt, donated fifty pieces of family heirloom items that he had preserved in his home and garden for sixty years to the Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum.

Seventy-six-year-old İskender Duman, living in the village of Konursu in Bayburt, took historical pieces that he had carefully kept since childhood under protection.
Duman, who is engaged in farming, preserved agricultural tools left by his ancestors along with many valuable items for approximately sixty years.
Items to be Exhibited in the Museum
Among the collection donated by İskender Duman are a family heirloom sword, a pocket watch, postage stamps, an accordion, hand-woven rugs, and agricultural tools.
It was stated that this special collection, consisting of a total of fifty pieces, was delivered to the museum to be passed down to future generations.
Transfer to Future Generations
Stating that the items have found their rightful place, İskender Duman expressed that he looked after the collection like the apple of his eye and desired these memories to be kept alive in the future.
Sharing his happiness that they will be exhibited in the museum, Duman emphasized that the preservation of the pieces holds great importance for him.
