A musical bridge built between Guatemala and Bodrum
At a concert held at Bodrum Castle with the support of the Embassy of Guatemala, the melodies of the two countries met with polyphonic music.
The Ensemble Concert organized by the Embassy of Guatemala at Bodrum Castle strengthened cultural ties between Guatemala and Turkey. Guatemalan pianist Roberto Pérez Chamalé shared the stage with the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Chamber Music Ensemble.
Musical Feast at Bodrum Castle
A large number of music enthusiasts attended the concert, which brought Guatemala's musical culture together with art lovers in Bodrum. Enjoyable moments were experienced at the event, which was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and local governments.
At the concert, Guatemalan pianist and composer Roberto Pérez Chamalé took the stage accompanied by the Chamber Music Ensemble affiliated with the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra.
Turkish and Guatemalan Melodies United
At the event, a special repertoire consisting of local melodies belonging to Guatemala and Turkey was synthesized with polyphonic music and presented to the appreciation of the audience.
At the end of the night, unforgettable pieces of Turkish folk music were performed with the accompaniment of the marimba, Guatemala's official national instrument, attracting great interest.
Cultural Relations and Contacts
This event, attended by Eduardo Enrique Hernández Recinos, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to Ankara, reinforced the bonds of friendship between the two countries.
Artist Roberto Pérez Chamalé had previously performed at the festival in Menteşe, and meetings had been held with local governments within the scope of diplomatic contacts.
