Adıyaman Municipality reached tens of thousands of citizens during the summer period with cultural, artistic, educational, and sports activities.

The Adıyaman Municipality Directorate of Cultural and Social Affairs provided free services to approximately 70,000 people through culture, arts, education, sports, and social solidarity activities during the summer period between June 1 and August 31, 2026.

Summer Events and Comprehensive Program

Adıyaman Municipality implemented a comprehensive summer program aimed at revitalizing the city's cultural and social life.

Summer schools, conservatory activities, cinema and theater screenings, and concerts were organized between June 1 and August 31, 2026.

Exam and Preference Support for Students

Various refreshments were offered on exam days to students who participated in the High School Transition System and the Higher Education Institutions Exam.

Additionally, free consultancy and guidance services were provided during the preference period to contribute to the youth's future.

High Participation in Summer Sports Schools

A total of 4,338 people benefited free of charge from the summer schools within the Healthy Living and Sports Complex.

While swimming courses were the most popular branch with 3,713 participants, hundreds of children also received training in various sports branches.

Social Solidarity and Services

Aşure was served to citizens on the occasion of Muharram, while condolence services were carried out without interruption.

During the three-month summer period, a total of 741 marriage procedures were performed, 21 of which involved foreign nationals.

Mayor Tutdere's Evaluations

Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere stated that they do not see municipalism as limited only to physical needs.

He emphasized that strengthening cultural and social life is one of the primary service areas.
