Anatolian Breaths Concert Held in Menteşe
Traditional wind instruments brought Anatolian melodies to the audience at an event held as part of the 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival.
In a concert held at Menteşe City Square, Dr. Ercan Kılkıl and his team brought the rich musical culture of Anatolia to the stage. The event, hosted by Menteşe Municipality, received great interest from the local public.
A Musical Feast with Traditional Instruments
Dr. Ercan Kılkıl from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and the accompanying artists performed melodies from different regions of Anatolia using traditional wind instruments such as the mey, sipsi, zurna, zambır, düdük, and tütek.
Cultural Meeting Within the Scope of the Festival
The 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival continues to bring different branches of art to the city with the hosting of Menteşe Municipality and the contributions of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.
Academic and Artistic Performance
The performance, which combines traditional Turkish folk music elements with contemporary academic studies, brought Anatolia's deep-rooted music and folk culture to the stage, providing the audience with an enjoyable evening.
Presentation of Plaques and Flowers
At the end of the concert, Menteşe Municipality Deputy Mayors Sami Tomurcuklu and Engin Fırat Ata presented Dr. Ercan Kılkıl with flowers and a plaque for his contributions to the festival.
