Ankara to Host Culture Route Festival from September 19-27
Throughout the nine-day festival, concerts, exhibitions, opera performances, and special events for children will be held in the capital.
Within the scope of the Turkey Culture Route Festival, comprehensive culture and arts events will be held in Ankara from September 19 to September 27, 2026. Famous artists will take the stage in programs organized at various venues across the capital.
Festival Venues and Dates
The Ankara leg of the Turkey Culture Route Festival will begin on September 19 and continue until September 27. Events will take place at the Başkent Millet Bahçesi (Capital Nation's Garden), CSO Ada Ankara, Ankara Ethnography Museum, Ankara State Museum of Painting and Sculpture, and the Republic Museum.
Capital Nation's Garden Concert Schedule
Concerts to be held at the Capital Nation's Garden will feature Gökhan Türkmen on September 19, Hakan Altun on September 20, Derya Uluğ on September 21, Poizi on September 22, Sefo on September 23, Serkan Kaya on September 24, Ceza on September 25, Ebru Yaşar on September 26, and Özcan Deniz on September 27.
Exhibitions and Visual Arts
The exhibition titled 'Sacred Relics of the Ottoman Empire' will meet visitors at the Ankara Ethnography Museum. At CSO Ada Ankara, an exhibition on ASELSAN's future vision and works themed around Ankara will be presented to art lovers.
Performing Arts and Concerts
The Opera Stage will host performances of Don Giovanni and the Tango Passion Crossroad – Tangata programs. At the CSO Ada Ankara building, ensembles such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Arab Orchestra will perform for music lovers.
Events for Children
Children's Village programs will be set up in the Capital Nation's Garden Children's Events Area. At CSO Ada Ankara, performances including the Elsa Children's Musical, Melody of Dance, Bremen Town Musicians, and the Nasreddin Hodja and Keloğlan Children's Tale show will be staged.
