Çanakkale Biennial Completes Preparations for Its 10th Edition
The international event, featuring numerous artists from Turkey and around the world, will welcome visitors in the geography stretching from Çanakkale to Troy.
The Çanakkale Biennial is preparing to meet art lovers for the tenth time between October 10 and November 20, 2026, under the title "Metcezir Ebb and Flow".
Tenth Edition and Institutional Support
The Çanakkale Biennial will hold its tenth edition between October 10 and November 20, 2026. The event will be realized with the main support of Dardanel and Kale Group, in collaboration with various local institutions.
As the Çanakkale Biennial Initiative celebrates its twentieth year, it carries twenty years of cultural and artistic accumulation into the future.
International Participation and Venues
Organized with the participation of over sixty artists from nine different countries, the biennial will meet audiences in fifteen different exhibition and event venues.
The exhibitions will take place at the Troy Museum, the MAHAL art ecosystem, and various cultural points around Çanakkale and its surroundings.
Metcezir Theme and Geographical Expansion
The title "Metcezir Ebb and Flow" focuses on the natural ecosystem by establishing a metaphor of movement through the advance and retreat of water.
The events will spread to different regions of the city, from Çanakkale to Troy, Ayvacık, and Assos.
