Çanakkale Culture Road Festival Concludes After Nine Days
Events organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism met with art enthusiasts at various points throughout the city and lasted for nine days.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism between August 29 and September 6, the Çanakkale Culture Road Festival has ended with the completion of its rich art and culture programs.
Events Within the Scope of the Festival
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Çanakkale Culture Road Festival continued with culture, art, and entertainment events at various locations across the city for nine days. Throughout the festival, concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, children's events, and gastronomy programs met with art lovers and city residents.
Traditional Tile Workshop
Held at the Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion Hangar under the guidance of Ayşe Işık, the Tile Workshop introduced participants to the traditional motifs and production techniques of Turkish tile art. The workshop focused on the characteristic features of İznik and Kütahya tile art, with floral and geometric motifs taking center stage.
Trip to the Ancient City of Alexandria Troas
On the final day of the festival, the Ancient City of Alexandria Troas, one of Çanakkale's significant archaeological heritage sites, was visited. During the tour conducted with an expert, participants had the opportunity to learn about the history of the ancient city and examine the ruins under the guidance of archaeologists.
Underwater and Diving Activities
The Respect for History Memorial Dive event, included in the festival program for the fourth time this year, also took place on the final day. During the free Scuba Trial Dive held at the Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion, children and young people explored the underwater world under the supervision of experts.
Children's Village Activities
Numerous activities such as fair tents, inflatable playgrounds, educational workshops, digital games, competitions, and a balloon ride were organized at the Children's Village located in the Anatolian Hamidiye Bastion Children's Activity Area.
Continuing with the Kayseri Stop
While the Çanakkale Culture Road Festival, which began on August 29, concluded on September 6, the next stop of the Turkey Culture Road Festival was Kayseri. The Kayseri Culture Road Festival, which started on September 5, will continue until September 13.
