Artweeks Istanbul has begun exhibiting works selected from the private collections of Banu and Hakan Çarmıklı, Öner Kocabeyoğlu, and Tansa Mermerci in a public space through a special selection titled "Collectors".

Banu and Hakan Çarmıklı Collection
Welcoming the audience under the title "Reunion / Kavuşma", this section features works shaped through personal connections and predominantly signed by female artists.
Öner Kocabeyoğlu's Extensive Selection
Featuring 140 works by 91 artists from different generations and geographies, the "Passion and Patience" selection forms the largest part of the exhibition.
Tansa Mermerci’s Journey
In the "Serenity and Agitation" selection, which brings together works ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, making women's issues visible in Turkey comes to the forefront.
The Responsibility of Sharing Art
The collectors emphasize that instead of keeping purchased works hidden in homes or warehouses, art should be shared in public spaces.
