Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu attended the Global Business Summit in the US on the occasion of the 81st UN General Assembly. Memişoğlu stated that the capabilities of Turkey and the US in the field of healthcare can complement each other.

Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu made important statements at the Global Business Summit event organized by the Turkish-American Business Association in the state of New Jersey.
Minister Memişoğlu shared with the participants that Turkey is one of the countries offering the best healthcare services in the world.
Turkey's Healthcare Infrastructure
He emphasized that Turkey has reached a position of providing quality and accessible healthcare services over the last 25 years under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
He conveyed that the country has a bed capacity of 271,000 and houses a healthcare system that touches millions of people every day.
International Healthcare Services
He stated that approximately 3 million people come to Turkey from Europe and various countries around the world to receive healthcare services.
He expressed that Turkey has gained international acclaim with its health technology and preventive healthcare models.
Cooperation Potential of the Two Countries
Minister Memişoğlu noted that technology is more advanced in the US, while preventive medicine and access to services are stronger in Turkey.
He expressed his belief that the combination of these two different strengths will provide great gains in the field of healthcare for both countries.
