Culture, art and sports events to be held throughout autumn in Alanya
The comprehensive autumn calendar prepared by Alanya Municipality includes numerous organizations ranging from a jazz festival and book fair to a triathlon and stone sculpture symposium.
During the autumn period covering September, October, and November in Alanya, numerous national and international festivals themed around art, literature, sports, and agriculture will be brought to life across the city.
Jazz and Book Encounters
As part of the autumn events organized by Alanya Municipality, the 20th International Jazz Festival will begin in September with a special concert by the Kerem Görsev Trio. It was reported that the guest of honor of the festival will be İzzet Öz.
Continuing through September and October, the 8th Alanya Book Fair will host important figures of the literary world, while author Ahmet Ümit will undertake the role of guest of honor for the event.
Tropical Fruits and Historical Venues
With the 5th Tropical Fruit Festival to be held in October, the agricultural wealth of the city will be introduced to participants, creating colorful scenes.
The event 'Melodies Rising from Historical Venues' will bring Alanya's historical texture together with music, giving the city a different atmosphere.
Sports and the Enthusiasm of the Republic
The traditionally organized 35th Alanya Triathlon in the city will take place within the month of October with the participation of local and foreign athletes.
Following the October 29 Republic Day celebrations, a fishing competition and a dance and music festival will heighten the enthusiasm.
Applications for the Stone Sculpture Symposium Opened
The application process for artists has officially started for the 21st International Stone Sculpture Symposium, which will last throughout November in Alanya.
The deadline for applications has been set as September 18 for the symposium, where artists coming from different countries will carve diabase stone blocks to create original works of art.
