Culture, Art, and Sports Meet on the Second Day of Efest 2026

The second day of EFEST 2026 was packed with activities, featuring a chess tournament attended by children from different cities, a children's orchestra concert, literature meetings, and health talks.
Traditional Chess Tournament
A total of 149 children participated in the Traditional Liberation Day Chess Tournament held across four different categories at the Efes Selçuk Municipality Event Center.
While young athletes from various cities competed fiercely, stationery vouchers were presented to the top ranking competitors and medals were awarded to all participants.
Support for Children and Youth
Deputy Mayor Erhan Güzel emphasized that despite ongoing financial difficulties, they never give up on their efforts dedicated to the development of children.
Moments Filled with Music and Art
Composed of children attending municipal courses, the Efes Selçuk Municipality Children's Orchestra took the stage at the Marketplace and received great acclaim from the audience.
Literature and Health Talks
Poet and writer Şükrü Erbaş came together with his readers at Book Fair Street to sign his books, while health-themed talks were held at the City Memory Center.
The second day of events concluded with a concert by Barış Bilgili at the Marketplace.
