Culture Road Festival Begins in Kayseri

The Kayseri leg of the Turkey Culture Road Festival officially began on September 5 with an opening program held at the Historic Kayseri Castle.

Opening Ceremony

The festival, which started at the Historic Kayseri Castle with the participation of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, and Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Serdar Çam, will continue until September 13.

Event Locations

Events organized under the coordination of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism are taking place at many different locations such as the Kayseri Archaeology Museum, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden, Kayseri Culture Center, and Kayseri Provincial Public Library.

The War of Independence Museum, Sanat Melikgazi, and Kayseri State Theatre Stage will also continue to host plays, exhibitions, and traditional handicraft workshops throughout the festival.

Free Concerts

While the first day of the festival kicked off with a performance by Mert Demir, numerous famous artists will meet their fans at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden within the framework of the nine-day program.

Throughout the program, visitors will be able to follow free concerts given by names such as Ceza, Ahmet Şafak, Buray, Özcan Deniz, Oğuzhan Koç, Kıraç, Murat Boz, and Sefo.

Exhibitions and Children's Activities

Art lovers will have the opportunity to visit special collections such as the Sacred Relics of the Ottomans, Living Heritage: Kayseri, and the Hâne and Heybe Exhibition during the nine-day period.

Additionally, children's village activities set up for kids and various workshop studies are included in the festival program.
