Diyarbakır to Host Türkiye Culture Route Festival for the Fifth Time
The festival, to be held between October 10 and 18, will bring together concerts, gastronomy events, and exhibitions in the city.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that Diyarbakır will be the 22nd stop of the Türkiye Culture Route Festival and will host it for the fifth time. The nine-day events are opening their doors to art lovers.
Festival Dates and Scope
Events in Diyarbakır, designated as the twenty-second stop of the Türkiye Culture Route Festival, will meet with art enthusiasts between October 10 and 18.
Nevruz Park Concerts
Hakan Altun, Mert Demir, Sefo, Sagopa Kajmer, Poizi, Derya Uluğ, Bengü, Murat Boz, and Fatma Turgut will take the stage at the concerts to be held in Nevruz Park.
Events at the Culture Center
Special concerts will be performed by the marching band and the choir of civilizations at the Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Culture and Art Center.
Gastronomy Gatherings
Many chefs will participate in the gastronomy program hosted by Gamze Cizreli, and local flavors will be presented to visitors.
Local Flavor Points
Traditional flavors such as meftune, stuffed ribs, duvaklı pilav, kibbeh (içli köfte), and burma kadayıf will be introduced at more than forty locations.
Art Exhibitions and Museums
Exhibitions themed around the Sacred Relics of the Ottomans and the heritage of Mesopotamia will open at the Diyarbakır Archaeology Museum and other historical venues.
