Exhibitions and Workshops Held at Culture and Arts Festival in Muğla
Exhibitions and workshops that met with art enthusiasts on the second day of the festival held in the Menteşe district received intense interest.
On the second day of the 33rd International Muğla Culture and Arts Festival held in Muğla's Menteşe district, exhibitions encompassing different art branches were opened and workshop activities were carried out.
Exhibitions Opened at the Festival
Within the scope of the ongoing 33rd International Muğla Culture and Arts Festival in Muğla's Menteşe district, striking exhibitions were presented for viewing at various venues. Yaraşlılar Culture House and Konakaltı İskender Alper Culture Center were opened to visitors of art lovers.
Glass and Painting Works
At Yaraşlılar Culture House, glass-blowing artist Nasuf Cömert's works and the Bodrum City Council artists' painting and sculpture exhibition titled "Autumn Meeting" met with art enthusiasts. Cömert explained the production process to visitors by shaping heated glass.
Women Efes Exhibition
At the Konakaltı İskender Alper Culture Center, painter Mustafa Ali Kasap's exhibition titled "Women Efes", which focuses on female heroes during the National Struggle period, was opened. The exhibition recounted the struggle of Çete Ayşe, Gördesli Makbule, and Kara Fatma.
Participation of the Mayor
Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras also participated in the workshop organized within the scope of the exhibition. Mayor Aras painted alongside artist Mustafa Ali Kasap, visited the exhibitions, and chatted with the artists.
Upcoming Events and Process
Stating that culture and art must reach every segment of society, officials conveyed that theater performances, talks, concerts, and a melon competition will be organized within the scope of the festival. Meanwhile, it was reported that the exhibitions can be visited for two weeks.
