Despite the cold weather, citizens who filled the City Square experienced a delightful final night with a concert where Guatemala's traditional melodies and pieces from different musical genres were performed.
Aşık Veysel's Work Received Great Acclaim
The guest artist of the night, Roberto Pérez Chamalé, performed both his country's music and one of the unforgettable works of Turkish folk music, Aşık Veysel's folk song 'Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım', with his piano.
High Attendance from the Protocol
The closing concert was attended by Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras, Guatemalan Ambassador Eduardo Enrique Hernández Recinos, and numerous citizens.
